Ability to unlearn abilities

Postby SixPath » 25 November 2015, 09:37

I'm currently in the late game, and I just wanted to experiment with some of my mid level heroes, I originally opted for all my heroes to carry and shield and wanted to spice it up, however I took "Shield specialist" with all of them, and it seems more than a little crappy that if I want to use any of my named warriors, I have to forfeit an ability. Raising another just to have someone with dual wielding or a two handed seems a little excessive considering it can take quite some time and at that point of the game everyone has 300ish hitpoints or more and a level one has 100 or less.

My guess is if this happens at all it will cost gold and take x days to unlearn it.

Make it half the original cost and time duration, rounded up, and I think we should be ok. ;)

Personally I think it should be more expensive than learning the skills, otherwise it will be too easy to just mess about with training in an otherwise so "hardcore" game such as Mordheim. Not sure I like respec or not, but it did sort of such when I accidentally took heavy armor prof on a black skaven with no option to take heavy armor...

they should start by removing all skills that can't be used for each charcher type
