Mordheim.exe not responding, et al.

Ever since the last update on February 4, 2016, I have been unable to play the game at all.

Essentially when I start the game it get as far as two places.

It can generally reach to a the load screen for a warband before, when asked to continue, it freezes up and crashes back to the desktop.

Though sometimes it just crashes as the select screen when I choose an option to either load or continue. Either way, the cursor will spin for a while then the game will crash back to the desktop.

In both instances it will tell me that "mordheim.exe is not responding".

I will add that after the update on the 4th of February I also updated my drivers on the following Sunday, February 7th.

I have followed the posted 8 options in the Technical Support section without any resolution. I even unistalled/reinstalled the game to see if that would work.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated as I really like this game and my be going through withdrawals.

Problem still persists after today's patch.

I would appreciate some assistance as this has been an ongoing issue since the previous patch.

Hi there.

I can't really make out a lot from the log. I once had CTD issues related to the GPU from my CPU while using my notebook. On my desktop the GPU is completely turned off which is most likely the reason why it didn't happen there.

Do you have a setup where this may apply? Try deactivating the CPUs GPU.

Try uninstalling your current AMD drivers & reinstalling the 15.12 drivers, see if that works?

Newer AMD drivers are not compatible with the game engine for some reason. You are not alone.
