I for one can't wait to see the undead and how you lot manage to balance the zombies with, I assume, no skills and similar, and the power of the vampires, and necromancers!

Necromancer would be like any other caster, perhaps with ability to raise zombies or skeletons back again. Vampire is most likely the Impressive for Undead. Can't see them allowing more than one of them.

I can't really see dwarfs as their own warband. I think they should be hired swords instead.
Otherwise you just have another bland warband with next to no variety like Sisters of Sigmar.

Dwarves bland? *adds to book of grudges* Dwarves would be pretty interesting with either an engineer or rune priest. And a troll slayer Hero or Impressive just screams heaps of dead foes.

Hello,
This is my rules suggestion for an undead warband (must be tested to balance)

HEROES

Necromancer
Leader of the warband, the Necromancer has powerful necromantic spells to buff his undead servitors

Attributes :
Str +
Tou +
Ag +
Ld +++
Int +++
Ale +++
WS ++
BS ++
Pre +
Movement : 6

Talents :
- Warband Leader
- Necromantic spells
- Immune to Fear

Equipment :
- Armour : Clothes, Pendant, Amulet, Helmet
- Melee : Sword, Mace, Axe, Spear, Halberd, Dagger, Shield, Staff
- Range : Short Bow, Bow

Skills :
- Wings of death (active, movement buff for undead creatures)

Dreg
Acolyte and servant of the necromancer, the Dreg may use versatile equipments, he can be a correct ranged specialist, and can perform as a good scout.

Attributes :
Str ++
Tou ++
Ag ++
Ld +
Int ++
Ale +++
WS ++
BS ++
Pre +
Movement : 6

Talent :
- Immune to Fear

Equipment :
- Armour : Clothes, Light armour, Pendant, Amulet, Helmet
- Melee : Sword, Mace, Axe, Spear, Halberd, Dagger, Shield
- Range : Short Bow, Bow

Skills :
- Trap resistance bonus

Wight
The Wight is the ultimate tank of the warband, best used in parry stance, he can also make good critical damages. But, as others undead creatures, he is very slow.

Attributes :
Str +++
Tou +++
Ag +
Ld ++
Int +
Ale +
WS +++
BS +
Pre ++
Movement : 5

Talents :
- Undead (poison and stun resistance bonus, immune to fear, cannot reply)

Equipment :
- Armour : Clothes, Light armour, Heavy armour, Pendant, Amulet, Helmet
- Melee : Sword, Mace, Axe, Spear, Halberd, Two-handed axe/sword, Dagger, Shield
- Range : Short Bow, Bow

Skills :
- Fear
- Spectral Blades (critical damage bonus)

Vampire Newborn
The Vampire Newborn is weaker than the real vampire (Impressive). Very fast, and dodge expert, he is a perfect scout or ambusher. The vampire newborn may be the alternate leader of the warband

Attributes :
Str ++
Tou ++
Ag +++
Ld ++
Int ++
Ale +++
WS +++
BS ++
Pre +++
Movement : 8

Talents :
- Vampire (poison and stun resistance bonus, immune to fear)

Equipment :
- Armour : Clothes, Light armour, Pendant, Amulet.
- Melee : Sword, Mace, Axe, Spear, Halberd, Two-handed axe/sword, Dagger, Bracers, Shield
- Range : none

Skills :
- Fear
- Vampire Charisma (melee resistance bonus)

HENCHMEN

Ghoul
Fast, agile and causing fear, Ghouls are good melee fighters. Their bracers are useful against parade tanks, but they have a limited equipment possibilities.

Attributes :
Str +++
Tou +++
Ag +++
Ld +
Int +
Ale ++
WS ++
BS +
Pre ++
Movement : 7

Equipment :
- Armour : Clothes, Pendant, Amulet
- Melee : Bracers
- Range : none

Skills :
- Fear
- Cannibalism (restores HP when killing/looting corpses)

Crypt Guard/Skeleton Warriors
With a larger equipment choice, Skeleton warriors ca be either used as ranged or melee fighters. They have bad attributes and are slow, but causes fear and may be correct parade tanks.

Attributes :
Str +++
Tou +++
Ag +
Ld +
Int +
Ale +
WS ++
BS ++
Pre +
Movement : 5

Talents :
- Undead (poison and stun resistance bonus, immune to fear, cannot reply)

Equipment :
- Armour : Clothes, Light armour, Heavy armour, Pendant, Amulet, Helmet
- Melee : Sword, Mace, Axe, Spear, Halberd, Dagger, Shield
- Range : Short Bow, Bow

Skills :
- Fear

IMPRESSIVE

Vampire Dark Lord
As an overpowered warrior, the Vampire must be the impressive of an undead warband. With impressive physical, mental and martial attributes, few creatures of the City Of The Damned can face the fury of a Vampire.

Attributes :
Str +++
Tou +++
Ag +++
Ld +++
Int +++
Ale +++
WS +++
BS +
Pre +++
Movement : 8

Talents :
- Vampire (poison and stun resistance bonus, immune to fear)
- Impressive

Equipment :
- Armour : Clothes, Light armour, Heavy Armour, Pendant, Amulet, Helmet.
- Melee : Sword, Mace, Axe, Spear, Halberd, Two-handed axe/sword, Dagger, Bracers, Shield.
- Range : none

Skills :
- Fear
- Vampire Charisma (melee resistance bonus)

i'm really agree but perhaps we could have a vampire lord chef and the necromancer could be the first hero.
I wait with impatience!!!!

Then the player begins with Vampire Newborn and Necromancer, and the alternate leader would be the Wight.

The interesting thing with the configuration of A vampire Newborn as a ultimate hero (and alternate leader) is that you can hire several Newborn Vampire, and make a pure Vampire warband :

Leader : Vampire Newborn Born Leader
Hero : Vampire Newborn
Hero : Vampire Newborn
Impressive : Vampire Dark Lord
Henchmen : Ghouls

Sneaky fast and brutal warband.

If you prefer keep the Necromancer as leader, then you can do a necromantic walk of the dead warband :

Leader : Necromancer
Hero : Dreg
Hero : Dreg
Hero : Wight
Hero : Wight
Henchmen : Skeleton Warriors.

Slow, magical, shooting and tanking warband.

And of course, a mix of those 2 alternate gameplay is probably the most polyvalent and efficient configuration ^^

For the Cannibalism skill of the Ghouls :
Restore like 15 HP when killing an enemy in melee, but the ghoul must do a leadership test, if fail the ghoul is affected by stupidity until the next round.

About Dwarves Treasure Hunters, I can imagine it would be a cool warband.

Leader : Dwarf Noble
Hero 1 : Troll Slayer (good dodge for a dwarf, special skills)
Hero 2 : Ingineer (with ranged weapons and shooting buffs for allies)
Hero 3 : Longbeard (highest morale)
Impressive : Rune Master (ultimate tank, Runic powers : buffs for equipments)
Henchman 1 : Miner (classic melee warrior, with trap or warpstone resistance)
Henchman 2 : Fire Warrior (with ranged weapons)

All the dwarf get the "dwarf" talent : Stun resistance, and no movement penalties dues to heavy armours (because the dwarves already has a very bad movement).

Or, the Rune Master becomes a hero, and the Troll Slayer the impressive.
