So this game is dead now?

Postby hroch » 03 October 2016, 15:00

It appears that there will be no further support and content. I was hoping that there could be the Undead warband.

Can anyone from the studio confirm the situation?

Considering there is a new patch coming, I'd say that it confirms the rumor as false. Plenty people playing single and pvp games still, though most are withing leagues.

Not a large group on this project, so it is going to take time to get the art, modeling and movement, rules and new code for each new warband.

I encourage you to read this thread I posted a couple days ago... While we can't say much about what's coming up, I can assure you that we've been very busy and pretty hard at work in the recent weeks. Hang in there, it'll be worth it! ;)
Good hunting in the streets of Mordheim!

Please tell me that the big reveal you were teasing is not just the console release. We need more maps and more warbands!

I am glad that I am wrong.

I am afraid about the AI turn acceleration. Fixed speed does not seems to be right solution. I think it could be better if it could be seeded up only for hidden AI enemies. Something like turns in Warhammer Total War.

Apart from new maps and warpads (Which Expalphalog proposing, I would welcome new game mods.
- Push the cart
- Attack some fortification (in time limit)
- Defend it
- Capture and hold

The it would be nice to think about some new strategic features, like
- Missions will stay for available for several turns
- Some missions would cause some harm if not completed in time imit
- Base, and influence over map
- Deeper scouting - I want to pay extra money to see if there is deamon, what is the setup, or how the map looks like

Think about it like about XCOM.
