Get your theorycrafting going...

... because the Witch Hunter Captain has been revealed!

In the upcoming weeks, up to the full release of the Witch Hunters, we'll be revealing all their units details with you guys so you can start planning your new Witch Hunter Warband!

Enjoy!

I think an excellent plan is to be bristling with crossbow pistols (Chewie won't mind if we borrow his bowcaster, right??). I can't wait to see the stats breakdowns for these hunters!

A bit of an aside, but they will presumably be an "order" warband? Do they have some squabbles with the Sisters, or is everyone buddy-buddy?

Lore-wise there's widespread tension (if not outright hostility) between the Witch Hunters and the Sisterhood - the Sisters are considered heretics by the general Sigmarite clergy, even if they technically ought to be on the same side. The Witch Hunters are among the Grand Theogonist's enforcers, so they'll most likely be tasked with rooting out all sources of corruption - of which the Sisters are considered one, however unfairly.

So yes, they'll probably be an "order" warband, but trying to categorize the factions in Mordheim in a strictly binary manner is going to lead to gross simplification at best, and most likely lots of nonsense reasoning. It's not an MMO, we don't actually need a strict division like that, given the obvious infighting inherent in the game.

So happy they're finally on their way!

Now I just need to figure out how to successfully load up on as much pistols as possible and still be a playable warband.

So with both the captain and general witch hunters having innate melee oriented skills, does that mean they'll be gimping themselves if they go ranged?
