why does it matter wen your guy attacks in a round? you can still choose not to counter attack if you want. and the fact that no one get extra attacks that would let other tactics take place. then the ones now,welcome Stymie Jackson & Svinto you guys liven up the place
well this topic is persistent.
in the other thread i put thisi think the crux of this debate at the moment is that some feel counter attack is overpowered.
especially when shields have their new buff allowing for 1 OP counter attacks those who are calling for changes are going to be miffed.
i don't disagree with this sentiment but i don't feel counters are the worst thing in the world, i am unsure that what you propose Svinto is the simplest or even a fix.
the equivalent for what replenishment at the start of a turn is explained as simply as
units with a lower initiative don't get a counter attack
remove the choice to: counter or save your pills. people will always use the counter as its the first attack they get, and if the unit is taken out in the 10 other units turns before that it's lost.
is this over simplified?
win by extra attack. or win win high ini after extra attacks fails and they cant counter no more.. this is just as flawed. even worse in my head.
